Theoretical and Methodological Bases of Formation of Information Systems, Intellectual Property Management in Knowledge-Intensive Organizations

Abstract

The article deals with the formation of information systems, management of intellectual property in knowledge-intensive organizations. The aim of the research is theoretical justification for the development and implementation of automated information systems, management of intellectual property in high-tech companies and corporations which constitute a part of an integrated automated information systems management organization or corporation, as the application of ERP II. The survey identifies the nature and content of information systems in the economy, investigates the role of intellectual property in the development of innovative economy in Russia, proposes the classification of technical solutions in the field of information systems managing the intellectual property, analyzes the experience of intellectual property management in leading Russian and foreign organizations and corporations, and represents the review of the existing automated information systems for intellectual property management. It is concluded that it is necessary to practically test the development and implementation of automated information systems, management of intellectual property in high-tech companies and corporations as the application of ERP II.
