The Impact of Black Magic: An Economic Analysis in Tamil Nadu

Abstract

The people are the most precious resource of a nation. The operation of an economy depends, to a great extent, on the employment of people. Good health is a vital factor for the provision of regular supply of labor as it avoids the disruptions caused by sickness and the resulting absenteeism. Black Magic affects human beings health indirectly both physically and mentally. It creates invisible health problems; this is also one of the reasons to reduce the worker’s productivity in their fields. This study explained the Symptoms of black magic and issues faced by the respondents due to black magic. The promotion and protection of the health of the people are essential to sustain economic and social development.
