Modern Media in the Internet and its Impact on World Culture

Abstract

The article broaches point of dissemination of information in modern ways, especially through the internet. Having expressed his opinion on the debatable issue of the identity of the notions of the media and the internet, the author analyzes modern network journalism, makes assumptions about the use of the phenomenon of social networks in politics, citing examples from the publications of Russian and foreign online publications. One of the main topics analyzed in the article is the literature of blogs, showing signs of both traditional literature and publications on the internet. Particular attention is considering to the security of internet publications, age and ethical censorship and rules for conducting discussions on electronic platforms. At the end of the article, possible ways of further development of internet journalism are traced, and some conclusions and wishes are expressed regarding the strengthening of the role and expansion of the use of electronic resources in the future.
