«The Easter World» of Nicholas II during the Bell for Witte Tolled

Abstract

At the beginning of the XX century Russia has entered when the public and administrative management of imperial autocracy held the anniversary festivals. 100-year anniversary of the State Council becomes the most known. In 1901, the famous artist I.E. Repin has received the state order for writing of the picture devoted to this anniversary. Nicholas II showed the Far East policy in an environment of «bezobrazov’s». The Minister of Finance S.Yu. Witte against whom the purposeful campaign for his sampling in eyes, both the public, and the Sovereign has begun got in their way. The main fight has happened between the Minister of Finance S.Yu. Witte and the Minister of Internal Affairs V.K. Plehve, so-called «fight of the economist and administrator». Witte has not resisted sophisticated means of fight against him. Nicholas II announced Witte resignation on Friday, August 16, 1903 when nothing not suspecting Witte has arrived the waterway to the tsar to Peterhof on the Loyal Report.
