Business Incubator as a Part of SME Support State Infrastructure

Abstract

This article describes technological business incubator’s function and activity, goals and objectives. Specially noted are various services that providing to the residents of St. Petersburg technological business-incubator. In addition, this article reports about the case of selecting small enterprises for incubation. The methodology of the research is a comparative analysis of compliance of the current normative and methodical base the culture of a business incubator. According to the results of the conducted research the conclusion about the effectiveness of the First city business incubator as object of infrastructure of state support of entrepreneurship. As a conclusion, developed series of recommendations aimed to improve business incubator effectiveness. These recommendations will lead to improving performance assessment of the business incubator managing company.
