Role of State in the Formation of the Civic Culture of a Modern Russian Society

Abstract

This article takes under consideration framing the role of government in Russian present-day society civic culture formation process. It is stressed the need for the formation of political culture that would correspond to the political regime in contemporary Russia. Under consideration it puts an issue of possibility of application of G. Almond and S. Verba civic culture theory in Russian current conditions. The issue of formatting special Russian civic culture that would correspond to both democratic regime and preservation of strong governmental power is studied hereinafter. It is concluded that the government acts as a main subject of formatting special Russian civic culture.
