Abstract

In the article key provisions of Strategy of Spatial Development of the Russian Federation until 2025 are considered. Theoretical aspects, key scientific bases of the important government document are shown: the concept “the center — the periphery†, or the polarized development. Authors paid the main attention to questions of the spatial organization of resettlement. Authors suggest considering Strategy as the basic document, but not as a set of concrete recommendations about social and economic development of certain regions.
