Abstract

1930’lardan bu yana dünya ekonomisinde rejim değişikliği olarak tanımlanabilecek iki önemli hareket olduğu söylenebilir. Bunlardan birincisi, Bretton Woods antlaşmalarıyla çerçevelendirilmiş Keynezyenizm, ikincisi de Bretton Woods sisteminin yıkılmasından sonra başlayıp 2007-2008 krizine kadar süregelen sistemdir. Bu çalışmada Robert Wade, 1980’den bu yana yaşanan neoliberal paradigmayı sorgulamaktadır. Bunun yanı sıra, bu sürecin getirdiği krizin nedenlerini, yankılarını ve oluşturulan modelin hatalı yönlerini değerlendirmektedir. Elde edilen temel sonuç ise, küresel ekonomik sistemlerin, tekdüzelikten uzaklaşılarak yeniden daha geniş kapsamlı olarak tasarlanılma zorunluluğunda olmalarıdır.
