The house arrest as a penalty institute in Slovakia criminal law

Abstract

The aim of the article is a comprehensive research of house arrest institution and its performance in the Slovak criminal law. The place of punishment in the form of house arrest in the punishment system of the Slovak Criminal Code is defined and the peculiarities of the punishment of house arrest, as well as its performance in the Slovak criminal law are educed.
