Abstract

Before any effective cluster policy is developed it can be necessary to carry out complex measures for identification of the spacial clusters which are already existing in regions of the country. However the present methods of identification face some difficulties at establishment of the fact of existence of a cluster of the organization which, as a result, gives a false idea of the studied object (the cluster). The solution of the problem of consistency of a technique of identification to the very studied spacial cluster is one of the main objectives of the theory and practice of management of spacial clusters. Some points of view on identification of spacial clusters are presented in article: works of foreign and Russian researchers. A main objective of the article is rather an analysis of known methods of identification, than synthesis of some new technique of identification of spacial clusters. This article is also devoted to the review of these known methods. An additional task of the article is the identification of the general and the specific that is contained in the analyzed methods of identification of clusters. Therefore, in the article there is attempt to present along with already known methods (LQ, tables “input - output†) little-known works of foreign and Russian researchers in which original methods of identification of clusters are offered. Thus, the subject of the present article is the methodology of identification of spacial clusters, and the object - the cluster of organizations located in quite specific territory of the region of the country.
