The territorial scope of operation of international treaties

Abstract

The article is devoted to the analyzing the article 29 of the Vienna Convention on the law of treaties. The author analyzes both multilateral and bilateral treaties containing provisions on the territory of their application. Special attention is paid to the practice of the UN Secretary General as the Depositary of multilateral international treaties.
