Mechanisms for implementing state policy of sustainable development in the field of renewable energy

Abstract

In the context of the current global energy transition, the implementation of state sustainable development policy plays a critical role in promoting large-scale development of renewable energy. And the development of renewable energy is becoming a key factor in achieving sustainable development goals. This article considers specific mechanisms for implementing state policy: subsidy and tax incentive policies, financial support policies and price incentive policies. The purpose of the study is to identify effective mechanisms for implementing state policy in the field of renewable energy (RES). The study found that the effectiveness of mechanisms for implementing state policy depends on the synergy that is realized at different stages of industrial development: tax incentives stimulate innovation in technological research and development, financial support solves liquidity problems at the early stages of industry development, and pricing forms the market structure in the field of electricity sales. The main methods of the study were the methods of analysis and synthesis, on the basis of which the mechanisms for implementing state sustainable development policy were identified and structured; as well as econometric modeling, on the basis of which the effectiveness of implementing the presented mechanisms was determined.
