Methods of research of creative industries at the macroeconomic level

Abstract

Currently, the study of creative industries is an urgent topic of scientific research aimed at identifying factors contributing to their successful development. The purpose of the article is to explore the unique features of the economic phenomenon known as creative industries, with an emphasis on analyzing research approaches and substantiating quantitative and qualitative research methods in that field of activity.The scientific novelty of the article lies in the identification by the authors of the methodology aspects for research of the creative industry in the Russian Federation, the analysis and the methods systematization for research of the creative industry at the macroeconomic level and the definition of the principles of the creative industry planning, which identify the key factors contributing to sustainable development and economic growth in the field.Scientific research, federal projects, and regulatory documents are used as the methodological basis for the present article. The study employs methods such as analysis, synthesis, observation, comparison and generalization, as well as inductive and deductive approaches.
