Abstract

The author analyzes the innovation infrastructure from the point of view of its methodological basis, with consideration of the features for the concept interpretation; besides he gives the properties and elements of the complex of interdependent structures in innovation activity. The article reflects the need to form such an innovative infrastructure, which will subsequently give an impetus not to extensive economic development (transformation of quantitative parameters in order to expand the reproduction of both the financial and material resources), but to purposefully innovative one (rapidly changing rates of improvement in people’s life contribute to accelerating the demand for the quality of goods and services provided and for their diversification – creation and formation of technoparks, technopolises, the production facilities, of which the basis is intellectual productivity and capital). The structure and components are also studied, the functionality of the innovation infrastructure is presented in the context of three positions, the main approaches to the study of the current process are highlighted. The presented analysis allowed drawing a conclusion that innovation is a link between companies in a civilized way. Today the central issue is the formation of arguments for the innovative way of action of all economic entities and the expansion of their combined implementation with the research and development sector with support for the developed innovative infrastructure.
