Abstract

In the presented paper, various approaches to determining the term “market instruments†are analyzed, modern market instruments are highlighted and classified. Further, the selected categories of market instruments are analyzed in the context of the congress and exhibition activities of enterprises. The congress and exhibition activities were chosen for the study, because exactly the communication and the exchange of experience is the foundation for the modern economy, and therefore events where entrepreneurs have the opportunity to get to know each other, agree on cooperation and exchange experience become important. To ensure the intensive development of enterprises in the field of the congress and exhibition activities, special market instruments are needed. Direct borrowing of instruments from the other areas is unlikely to be effective, since in that case the features of the development and course of the business process in the system of services for organizing the exhibitions, congresses, and conferences are ignored. As a result of writing this paper, key market instruments of the congress and exhibition enterprises were highlighted.
