Factors of the sanctions impact on the economic development of Russia

Abstract

The article assesses the impact of sanctions at various levels of economic activity, in particular, at the global, country and corporate levels. The relevance of the chosen topic is due to the growing geopolitical tensions associated with the introduction of sanctions againstRussia, and a significant degree of effect on the economies of other states in those conditions.The purpose of the study is the identifying and systematizing factors of the sanctions impact on the economy of the state. To achieve that goal, the following tasks were solved: the consequences of the introduction of sanctions againstRussiaand foreign countries were studied, the basic directions of the impact were identified and the systematization was carried out by selected criteria. The article also presents an assessment of the effect of sanctions on the Russian economy in the context of the classification of the types of impact of sanctions in effect.
