Abstract

A terceira edição do livro de Patton resulta de ampla mudança de foco. Em 1990 o autor enfatizou o uso de procedimentos qualitativos de pesquisa para avaliação de programas. Na atual edição o foco é na pesquisa qualitativa em geral, incluindo, também, a avaliação de programas. Essa mudança de foco deu origem a uma obra simultaneamente abrangente e diversificada em termos da variedade de procedimentos qualitativos de pesquisa abordados, de grande utilidade em nível de pós-graduação
