The survey was conducted with industrial companies of the State of São Paulo, in Brazil. The research was accomplished through interviews of one hundred Brazilian companies. This model has 39 variables that drive the identification of 7 main factors for adoption of outsourcing. The seven factores obtained through the use of statistical techniques are: cost reduction, access to knowledge and technology, human resources management, routine activities, better and more efficient services, variation on work load, and activities with high degree of specification.
