Derivation of the Black-Scholes Formula by Deductive Reasoning Methods

Abstract

経済数学問題を解くためには,人は,演繹,帰納,アブダクションなどを総合的に駆使して推論を行っていると考えられる。その思考の過程においては,アブダクションによって仮説を立てて一歩先を予測しながら,文章題の Unknown から Given Data 方向にむかって,逆方向に演繹推論を適応して,問題を解いているのではないか,筆者は考える。この逆向き推論方式の有効性を評価するため,本稿では,難解と言われるブラック=ショールズ方程式の導出を文章題として解くことを推論方式で行ってみた。結果として,この導出に関しては,期待値から株価の関数形を求める,株価の関数からその確率密度関数形を求める,という2つの大筋の部分は,逆向き推論がアブダクションとして行われている。しかし,部分目標の推論部分では,前向き推論も部分的に行われている。こうした逆向き推論方式で,ブラック=ショールズ方程式の導出を教えると,モデル作成の前提条件に懐疑的になり,複数の候補となる仮説からその仮説を選択した理由を推察することで,さらに深くその公式を理解できるようになる。
