Abstract

Este trabalho tem por objetivo analisar o impacto da redução tarifária prevista no Mercosul sobre o emprego setorial no Brasil. A análise é feita através de simulações de um modelo de equilíbrio geral computável. São realizados dois tipos de exercícios que diferem em relação às hipóteses de funcionamento do mercado de trabalho em alguns setores da economia. No primeiro grupo de exercícios, supõe-se que o trabalho é perfeitamente móvel entre todos os setores, enquanto no segundo grupo o mercado de trabalho é segmentado, ou seja, o trabalho é móvel apenas entre alguns setores.
