Abstract

(Disponible en idioma inglés únicamente) Basándonos en datos de panel de Perú durante el período de 1994 a 2000, hallamos que cuando los hogares reciben dos o más servicios conjuntamente, los aumentos de asistencia social de la familia, medidos según la variación del consumo, son mayores que cuando los servicios se reciben por separado. Dicho aumento parece ser más que proporcional, según confirman las pruebas F de los coeficientes de los regresores correspondientes. De modo que hallamos que la conjunción de servicios puede contribuir con los efectos de la asistencia social.
