La RSE contribue-t-elle au développement durable ?

Abstract

Nous montrons que la RSE relève de deux faits stylisés distincts qui sont deux enjeux de régulation et de pouvoir. L'un est de nature institutionnelle et politique, nous le nommons RSE-Institution, il rend possible et stabilise le second, que nous nommons RSE-Stratégique, de nature économique, productive qui en retour engendre et requiert des compromis politiques que structurent les dispositifs institutionnels. Les instruments de gouvernance interfirme au sein des chaînes globales de valeur, et l'émergence des conventions de 'qualité responsable' ne permettent pas toutefois le dépassement du régime financiarisé, mais tendent au contraire à le renforcer, notamment du fait du contournement du rapport salarial. Les stratégies et les institutions de la RSE sont celles d'une régulation oligopolistique privée dont rien ne signale la capacité à agir dans le sens d'un développement durable.
