Abstract

La dimension spatiale est centrale dans les travaux sur les ségrégations scolaires qui objectivent depuis la fin des années 1980 en France les inégalités entre des établissements. Au-delà de ces travaux, la dimension spatiale des inégalités scolaires permet de comprendre les inégalités en lien avec les politiques (sectorisation, affectation) et les placements des élèves, qui dépendent de leur position résidentielle.
