Conocimiento y crecimiento económico: un marco alternativo para el análisis de los determinantes del desarrollo económico

Abstract

Analiza los modelos tradicionales de la teoría del crecimiento económico que enfatizan la importancia de la acumulación de factores productivos, para luego examinar la evidencia acumulada de las experiencias históricas de desarrollo desde mediados del siglo XIX que muestra una variable para dicho crecimiento que es la acumulación de conocimientos: incorporación de nuevas técnicas de producción, nuevos bienes y formas alternativas de organización del proceso productivo.
