El problema del análisis clúster en presencia de outliers: El caso de Ciénaga - Magdalena - Colombia

Abstract

Este articulo analiza la distribución espacial de establecimientos comerciales e industriales en Ciénaga, Magdalena. Apreciamos que la presencia de dos grandes empresas agro-industriales en la periferia del municipio, tiene un efecto distorsionador sobre análisis clúster tradicionales, del tipo LISA y Moran’s Index. Nosotros usamos regresión cuantílica espacial en dos etapas (2SQR), para evitar el efecto distorsionador de los outliers. Los resultados de regresión nos permiten rechazar la existencia de un proceso de desarrollo productivo tipo clúster en el municipio.
