Abstract

El derecho a la educación, recuerda -en primer lugar- a la existencia de normativa internacional y nacional que obliga el Estado a garantizar que todas las personas accedan a un educación de calidad, relevante para su desarrollo personal y el de la sociedad. Los actores principales vinculados con la gestión durante las últimas décadas parecieran haber olvidado que la educación es un derecho, pues piensan en ella principal o exclusivamente como un instrumento para el aprendizaje de habilidades productivas, pero solo en el sentido económico. La propuesta del ensayo es, en cambio, poner el derecho a la educación como el eje de futuras gestiones, plasmándolo en políticas y programas que permitan un crecimiento educativo para todos.
