Ökologische Ökonomie: Eine neue Wissenschaft?

Abstract

Vorwort: Nach der Jahrestagung der VÖÖ zum Thema „Ökologische Ökonomie: eine neue Wissenschaft?“, die vom 6. bis 8. Mai 2004 in gewohnter Umgebung in Heidelberg stattfand, waren wir uns im Vorstand sehr schnell einig, daß die durchweg spannenden und zum Weiterdenken anregenden Beiträge dokumentiert werden sollten. Schließlich befassten wir uns mit einer Thematik, die fundamentale Fragen des Selbstverständnisses der Ökologischen Ökonomie und der Arbeit der Vereinigung für Ökologische Ökonomie behandelte: In welchem Maße muss eine wissenschaftliche Kritik des bestehenden ökonomischen Systems gleichzeitig selbstreflexiv eine Kritik der herrschenden Wissenschaft beinhalten? Kann man die Ökonomik verändern wollen und die Wissenschaft im Allgemeinen so lassen wie sie ist? Welche Voraussetzungen müsste eine „neue Wissenschaft“ erfüllen? An welchen Stellen würde eine Reform der Wissenschaften Sinnvollerweise ansetzen und von welchen Akteuren könnte sie ausgehen? Wir hoffen, dass wir diese und einige der vielen weiterführenden Fragen, Thesen und Gedankengänge mit diesem Band nachvollziehbar machen können und damit zum Weiterdenken, zur Kritik sowie zum Diskurs über den Kreis der Mitglieder der Vereinigung für Ökologische Ökonomie hinaus anregen...
