Wirtschaftsregion "Centrope Europaregion Mitte": Eine Bestandsaufnahme

Abstract

Die Studie untersucht die Voraussetzungen und die Entwicklung des grenzüberschreitenden Wirtschaftsraums Wien–Bratislava–Györ aus ökonomischer Perspektive. Dafür werden Indikatoren herangezogen, welche die Wettbewerbsfähigkeit von Centrope innerhalb der EU messen. In einem zweiten Schritt werden die Bestimmungsgründe der regionalen Wettbewerbsfähigkeit herausgearbeitet. Schließlich werden mit Methoden der räumlichen Ökonometrie grenzüberschreitende funktionale Beziehungen und räumliche Spill-over-Effekte analysiert.
