Abstract

Die Erholung der österreichischen Wirtschaft vom Konjunktureinbruch des Jahres 2009 hielt Ende 2010 an. Getragen wird diese Entwicklung weiterhin vom kräftigen Wachstum der Weltwirtschaft, die vor allem die Konjunktur in der Sachgütererzeugung antreibt. Das sektorale Konjunkturmuster verstärkte daher die vor der Krise bestehenden regionalen und funktionalen Wachstumsunterschiede. Am besten entwickelte sich die Wirtschaft sowohl im Jahr 2010 als auch im IV. Quartal in den vom Konjunktureinbruch besonders betroffenen Industriebundesländern Steiermark, Oberösterreich und Vorarlberg.
