Abstract

a arquitectura del ordenamiento internacional y su desarrollo en materia económica es la tercera publicación de la Colección Ius Cogens: Derecho Internacional e Integración que se realiza en el marco de las acciones de la Cátedra Jean Monnet de nuestra Universidad y que pone de relieve la necesidad de proponer un estudio sistemático e integral de los principios y normas generales del derecho internacional, toda vez que sin ellos es imposible comprender e interpretar de manera adecuada las dimensiones jurídicas específicas de los procesos sociales que emergen en el contexto más integrado, más complejo y más incierto de la globalización. Los capítulos que componen esta obra se dividieron en cinco partes: la primera, con tres escritos dedicados a los debates inacabados de derecho internacional público; la segunda interroga –en sus cuatro artículos– si la integración europea es un modelo por seguir; la tercera sección, con tres reflexiones, se ocupa de los desarrollos de la integración latinoamericana; la cuarta parte cuenta con cinco estudios que cuestionan si la Alianza del Pacífico es una alternativa para la integración latinoamericana; y cierra el último apartado con cuatro análisis de los relacionamientos económicos bilaterales y entre bloques. De esta manera, la colección Ius Cogens abarca análisis referidos a los principios fundamentales y a las normas generales del derecho internacional y de la integración, consolidando a lo largo de sus números una importante base de artículos científicos que participa en los debates contemporáneos de mayor relevancia para nuestra región y el país.
