Abstract

El libro Discursos de la guerra en Colombia 1998-2005 es el resultado de una investigación realizada por Victoria Elena González Mantilla, en el marco de la tesis para obtener el título de doctora en ciencias sociales. A partir de la elección de un corpus de 28 registros producido por tres actores discursivos: las AUC, las FARC y representantes de los gobiernos de Andrés Pastrana y Álvaro Uribe Vélez durante dos procesos de paz, la autora analiza los registros elegidos a la luz de los patrones de la historicidad en el análisis crítico del discurso. Lo anterior le permite observar, entre otros fenómenos, la incidencia del trasfondo histórico en la construcción de los discursos de los actores de la guerra colombiana, las relaciones intertextuales que se dan entre los discursos de dichos actores y algunas resignificaciones alrededor de conceptos como guerra, violencia, conflicto armado y terrorismo.
