Estimates of obesity trends in Brazil, 2006–2009

Abstract

Despite obesity rates in Brazil not being among the highest in the world, the rapid increase in these rates, greater in women than men, demand immediate care. These findings will help to formulate strategies needed to reduce and prevent obesity. Copyright Swiss School of Public Health 2012
