Organisationskapital und Humankapital als strategische Ressourcen

Abstract

Die Erfolgswirkungen des Human- und Organisationskapitals werden bislang mit Daten von Unternehmen aus mehreren Branchen untersucht. Dem ueberlegen waere eine branchenfokussierte, insider-oekonometrische Forschungsstrategie. Dies wird anhand der veroeffentlichten Studien begruendet und mit einer neuen Studie zum Maschinenbau der neunziger Jahre illustriert. Hypothesen, die aus ressourcenbasierten UEberlegungen abgeleitet werden, bewaehren sich empirisch in geordneten logistischen Regressionsanalysen mit Daten des NIFA-Panels: Eine hohe Weiterbildungsintensitaet (als Mass fuer das Humankapital) ist mit einer besseren spaeteren Ertragslage der Unternehmen verbunden. Die breite Nutzung computergestuetzter Produktionsplanung und -steuerung und die Zahl der pro Beschaeftigtem eingesetzten NC/CNC-Maschinen (als Masse fuer das Organisationskapital) sind ebenfalls mit einer besseren spaeteren Ertragslage verbunden.
