A munkapiaci intézmények hatása a munkanélküliségi rátára
[The effect of labour-market institutions on the unemployment rate]

Abstract

Tanulmányomban a munkapiaci intézmények, merevségek munkanélküliségi rátára gyakorolt hatásaival foglalkozom. Négy intézményt elemzek: munkanélküli-segély, szakszervezetek, adózás, elbocsátási korlátozások. Bemutatok egy keresési modellt, amely a Pissarides nevéhez kötődő modellek egy változata. Ennek keretében próbálom meg számszerűsíteni az intézmények egyedi és egymást erősítő hatásait a munkanélküliségi rátára, valamint hogy az intézmények mennyire befolyásolják a sokkokat követő alkalmazkodási folyamatot. Eredményeim szerint az adók és az elbocsátási korlátozások önmagukban nem növelik jelentősen a munkanélküliségi rátát, hatásuk csak nagymértékű munkanélküli-segélyezés mellett válik jelentőssé. A szakszervezetek alkuereje és a munkanélküli-segély mértéke jobban hozzájárul a magas munkanélküliséghez. Ezek a hatások azonban a modellben nem szereplő tényezőkkel enyhíthetők. Az elbocsátási korlátozások a modellben lassítják a termelékenységi sokkra adott reakciót, ennek mértéke azonban nem jelentős. Journal of Economics Literature (JEL) kód: J64.
