Abstract

En este trabajo se presenta el análisis del comportamiento de la estructura de capital de empresas del sector siderúrgico, además de la interrelación que existe entre los factores económicos y las decisiones de financiamiento, el análisis se realiza a partir de la selección de instrumentos que fondean los activos productivos de la empresa, los resultados que se presentan se obtuvieron a partir del estudio de datos de panel del periodo 2001–2011 para las empresas del sector siderúrgico que cotizan en la Bolsa Mexicana de Valores, adicionalmente se presenta la relación de causalidad que existe entre las variables seleccionadas que son: como variable dependiente el nivel de apalancamiento, flujo de caja, crecimiento de los ingresos, la intensidad del capital productivo, el tamaño de la empresa y el pib/ This paper presents the analysis of the behavior of the capital structure of companies in the steel sector, the study presents the interrelationship between economic factors and funding decisions, the analysis is based on the selection of instruments to anchor the productive assets of the company, the results presented were obtained from the study of panel data for the period 2001-2011 for the steel sector companies listed on the Bolsa Mexicana de Valores, additionally presents the causal link between selected variables that are dependent variable is leverage, cash flow, revenue growth, capital intensity of production, the firm size and gdp
