El control de sistemas dinámicos caóticos en economía: aplicación a un modelo de hiperinflación

Abstract

RESUMEN El presente artículo tiene por objetivo estudiar el control del comportamiento caótico de un sistema dinámico de hiperinflación empleando el método propuesto por Ott, Grebogy y Yorke (1990) (método OGY), el cual busca controlar la dinámica caótica de un sistema perturbando levemente alguno de sus parámetros. El método se ejemplificará por medio de la aplicación logística, y posteriormente se empleará en un modelo de hiperinflación (Punita, 2011) para estabilizar los precios en una órbita estacionaria de periodo uno.******This article examines control of chaotic behavior in a dynamic hyperinflation system using a method proposed by Ott, Grebogi, and Yorke (1990) (OGY method), which seeks to control the chaotic dynamic by slightly perturbing some of the system’s parameters. An example of the method is given through logistic application, and it is subsequently applied in a hyperinflation model (Punita, 2011) to stabilize prices in a stationary one-period orbit.
