Abstract

With strong growth of 8.3% in 2014, leasing on the whole performed far better than overall capital expenditure, as shown by the results of the latest Ifo Investment Survey of German leasing companies. Average growth of 3% in new business will be achieved in 2015, taking this figure up to 52.2 billion euros. According to the latest forecasts, equipment expenditure is also expected to rise in 2016 by 4% in both nominal and real terms.
