Coronavirus and the Consequences: A Look at Eastern Germany

Abstract

The coronavirus pandemic is likely to lead the eastern German economy into a deep recession. It is to be expected that many companies will not survive. This makes it all the more important to start thinking now about strengthening the eastern German economy once the current crisis has been overcome.
