Análise do Diferencial de Renda do Trabalho em 2008 entre Diferentes Gerações de Trabalhadores no Brasil

Abstract

Neste artigo estudou-se o diferencial de rendimentos por gênero e cor no Brasil, investigando os determinantes dos rendimentos em diferentes gerações no mercado de trabalho. Cor e gênero são importantes para explicar o diferencial de rendimentos. No entanto, quando comparados os resultados entre as diferentes faixas etárias, os coeficientes dessas variáveis são menores nas faixas etárias mais jovens. De fato, as condições do mercado de trabalho mostram-se distintas para essas gerações. Um dos fatores que pode explicar essa redução no diferencial de rendimento consiste na maior escolaridade dos mais jovens.
