Las tarifas ferroviarias en España (1856-1914)

Abstract

Este artículo pretende clarificar la terminología que las compañías ferroviarias utilizaron en las relaciones comerciales con sus clientes. La investigación ha utilizado fuentes archivísticas y fondos documentales, tanto españoles como extranjeros, con la intención de dar una visión lo más completa posible. Estos términos han sido usados sin comprender el significado de cada procedimiento, lo que ha llevado a errores que pueden comprometer los resultados conseguidos. Este mal uso, a veces favorecido por las mismas compañías, es comprensible por la variedad y complejidad de estas herramientas, consecuencia de la misma evolución de la economía española.
