Työntekijöiden palkat yritysten myllerryksissä

Abstract

Suomen yrityssektorin työllisyys, tuottavuus ja innovointi ovat kokeneet tällä vuosituhannella merkittäviä käänteitä. Voimakkaan kasvun kausi jatkui vuoteen 2008 saakka. Vuosien 2009–2014 aikana koettiin romahdus. Vuoden 2015 jälkeen alkoi vahva toipuminen. Yksilötasolla nimellispalkkojen kasvu on tällä vuosituhannennella hidastunut. Viime vuosina parhaiten ovat pärjänneet ylemmän korkeakoulututkinnon suorittaneet, varsinkin kaupallisella sekä ns. STEM-aloilla. Palkkojen nousuvertailussa viime vuosien suurimpia voittajia ovat STEM-ryhmän työantajanvaihtajat. Samassa yrityksessä jatkaneista työntekijöistä viime vuosina kovinta palkkojen kasvu on ollut voimakkaasti kasvaneissa yrityksissä eli jatkavien työntekijöiden palkkojen kasvu on reagoinut yrityksen kasvuun. Kaiken kaikkiaan yksilötason palkkakehitykset kertovat monia kiinnostavia asioita osaavan työvoiman pulan piirteistä ja rakenteesta.
