Abstract

In the first step, we assume—as a working hypothesis, as it were—that only those companies can be resilient that always keep an eye on the key prerequisites for achieving resilience and on the relevant risks affecting the company. As soon as the relationship between resilience and risk has been clarified, we turn our attention to the measures that build resilience, measures that have only been roughly outlined until now. Once we have compiled the measures for creating, maintaining, and strengthening resilience, we will be in a position to develop a testing scheme that enables us to consistently monitor corporate resilience.
