Abstract

This monograph investigates the changing landscape of organizational governance in the VUCA world with a focus on the inability of old bureaucratic and Taylorist models to capture the complexities of today. It discusses how advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) are resetting governance architecture, leadership profiles, and human resource management, enabling agility, resilience, and foresight-oriented change management. Through a systematic literature review based on the PRISMA protocol and Affinity Approach, the study synthesizes 94 studies in order to reveal new organizational designs for ethical and responsible AI integration. Major contributions include describing how AI facilitates individualized learning, strategic decision-making, and HR reform; setting up sector-specific governance frameworks; and highlighting the use of ethical principles like fairness and transparency. This monograph promotes moving from change management to leadership for change, centering on adaptive leadership, people-first, and ethical AI integration to better propel digital transformation. The extensive critique offers practice and policy advice along with case studies of HR innovations based on AI. The book overall is a good beginning to read about adaptive, people-centric governance models that can endure the age of swift technological and environmental change.
