Abstract

Thailand | Peter Richards has 20 years of hands-on experience at the crossroads of responsible tourism and community development: grassroots to global levels. During this time, he has worked in the private and non-profit sectors, with governments, NGOs, academia, tourism associations, tour operators and guides, local communities, hotels and restaurants. His core skills include sustainable tourism project management, training and coaching, developing and marketing inspiring local experiences, facilitating win-win partnerships between diverse stakeholders in international tourism supply chains, and helping businesses and organisations to raise sustainability standards. He is passionate about motivating stakeholders across sectors and cultures to work together and achieve results.
