Abstract

UK | Marta Mills is a sustainable and regenerative tourism specialist and educator, experienced communicator and researcher with a particular interest in tourism in mountains and Protected Areas. Regenerative Tourism Specialist at the Tourism CoLab, and Researcher and Sustainability Consultant at the Mount Everest Foundation. Over 15 years of experience working on sustainable development programmes in the Caucasus, Western Balkans and the EU, advising and educating on improving responsible tourism practices. In love with Georgia and the Caucasus mountains, where she has returned to 20 times since 2001, and one of the first enthusiasts that started building the Transcaucasian Trail.
