Abstract

Norway | Linda Veråsdal is the Founder of Ethical Travel Portal, a platform that provides inspirational stories from the grassroots and in-depth responsible holidays to different countries in the world. Linda is a responsible tourism activist and consultant. She has been working on product development, training and coaching in various countries and communities, including lecturing on sustainable tourism at the university level. Her latest initiative is The Gambia Cotton Trail, which connects the whole supply chain from seed to finished product, and is a journey from east to west in The Gambia. She splits her time in Norway and The Gambia, where she also is involved with Footsteps Eco Lodge.
