Análisis de la cadena de valor de turismo rural comunitario en el distrito de Sibayo, Perú (2018-2021)

Abstract

Este artículo analiza los esfuerzos y desafíos por sentar las bases sostenibles del Turismo Rural Comunitario (TRC) en el distrito de Sibayo, a 15 años de la primera experiencia de los pobladores en la que recibieron un grupo de turistas nacionales para practicar turismo vivencial, hasta configurarse en la primera experiencia de TRC en el departamento de Arequipa, al sur del Perú, con resultados positivos. El trabajo de los stakeholders que componen la cadena de valor turística, la participación activa de la comunidad, el diseño de actividades turísticas y la inserción del turismo en los planes y políticas distritales a lo largo de estos años han determinado su éxito actual.
