El reconocimiento del derecho al disfrute del tiempo libre en la Declaración Universal de Derechos Humanos

Abstract

Este ensayo trata sobre el artículo 24 de la Declaración Universal de Derechos Humanos (DUDH), que reconoce el derecho al disfrute del tiempo libre. La estructura del documento está basada en dos ejes: el primero versa sobre el ocio en tanto derecho humano, su marco conceptual y reconocimiento en las normas de la Organización de las Naciones Unidas (ONU). El segundo es una retrospectiva que expone las principales propuestas y debates suscitados en la ONU al momento de aprobar la DUDH. La perspectiva teórica que subyace a este trabajo es la del ocio humanista y su principal aporte es develar aspectos que se consideraron en la ONU al momento de tratar el derecho al disfrute del tiempo libre.
