Paisajes profundos. Turismo cultural como gestión integrada del patrimonio. El caso de El Rodeo en Catamarca, Argentina

Abstract

A partir de un caso de análisis se reflexiona acerca de alcances del turismo cultural considerado como gestión integrada del patrimonio cultural. Por un lado se explora la posibilidad de experimentar y conocer acerca del pasado arqueológico, histórico y las actividades tradicionales actuales a través de recorridos que reconstruyen la racionalidad de los paisajes culturales que fueron transformados a lo largo de milenios de historia local. Por otro lado, se abordan temáticas relativas a la conservación del patrimonio y promoción cultural de la comunidad local; y por último se analizan problemáticas detectadas a nivel provincial para el desarrollo de este tipo de proyectos que involucran al sector público y privado del turismo y al ámbito académico.
