Turismo y teoría de clusters, las potencialidades de la localidad de Monte Hermoso

Abstract

Este trabajo pretende demostrar la utilidad del concepto de “clusters” como herramienta de análisis de la estructura productiva del turismo, y como mecanismo a través del cual las empresas de una determinada localización pueden alcanzar altos niveles de competitividad. A tal fin, se estudia un posible caso de aplicación en el Partido de Monte Hermoso (Buenos Aires), analizando las potencialidades de desarrollo de este tipo de agrupamiento como estrategia para promover un desarrollo turístico competitivo en la región y maximizar su rendimiento económico. El trabajo se divide en tres secciones. En primer lugar se desarrolla el marco teórico. Después se presenta la situación general del Municipio de Monte Hermoso, para luego determinar específicamente su posicionamiento y caracterización como destino turístico.
